The George Mason University Police Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Fairfax, Arlington, and SciTech campuses.  Should you need an officer dispatched to your location on these campuses, or for over the phone non-emergency assistance, please call (703) 993-2810.  Campus police departments can be found at the following locations (click on locations for campus maps):

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)*

All health plans offered to state employees and their dependents have employee assistance programs (EAPs). Included are up to four, no-charge sessions for services such as mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, grief counseling and legal or financial services.

In general, care must be authorized in advance. You or your eligible dependent will speak to an EAP specialist who will assess your problem and coordinate assistance. Should your problem require mental health or substance abuse care, you will be referred to a provider, under your mental health and substance abuse benefit. Your EAP specialist or care manager will arrange a referral according to your specific needs. Contact your plan's Member Services department for more information:

GMU Center for Psychological Services

The GMU Center for Psychological Services provides evidence-based assessment and treatment services to people of all ages across the Northern Virginia and greater Capital region. Services are primarily provided by graduate students under the supervision of qualified, licensed professionals. All of our supervising faculty are affiliated with GMU, practicing, teaching, and/or conducting nationally funded research.
